Welcome to the Brightonesque Art Gallery, a communal market of local artists of all kinds showing off their wares and talents under one roof to introduce you to all they have to offer.

We all know the Brighton area artists open their doors at least once a year for an 'Open House' in order to show off their wares and abilities with all types of artwork - be they their own, or artwork found from all over. They do this as a way to get noticed for what they're doing in an informal but important way to 'spread the word'. They are often individuals with loads of talent, but perhaps on a tight budget; having their own stand-alone web site, advertising budget, or a storefront may be beyond their means.

Here's an example of how we can help those artists:

Brightonesque has a 'wing' just for various artists and art merchants of all types, called the Brightonesque Art Gallery.

In this gallery are a number of 'studios' dealing in various mediums of artwork. These 'studios' are, effectively, virtual 'store-fronts' - personalised web sites devoted to each vendor [ like a shopping mall ], except that each 'studio' is actually a fully interactive web site fully integrated into the rest of the Brightonesque village but completely designed and run by the artist or merchant.

It will also link to any other sites, e-mail addresses, or social networks [ like facebook etc. ] if required. In addition to the usual benefits of having your own site at an enormous discount, with Brightonesque, you receive your own e-mail for you and all your workers [ for example: Verona Paintings could be Verona @ brightonesque.com. You would have free initial access to a professional business consultant and web design consultant with 50% discounts of normal fees thereafter. You would also have steep discounts off of professional photography and printing needs – if necessary.

The Space

The Space (Southern Performance and Creative Energies) is a unique monthly arts and entertainment event. The Space brings together the creative community with special guest interviewees in an intimate environment, The Basement, a leading Brighton based arts venue.

Brighonesque Directory... For a free entry into our directory, all text details including your full public description, contact details and relevant URLs can be submitted here. After we verify your details, your entry will be posted and after regular verifications, will remain on our system until you instruct us otherwise.

You can also have an upgrade (£45 for 6 months or £75 per year option) which will allow you a logo/graphic/photo, mini bio and all relevant URLs plus a sample of your work. See an example here and here.

The ultimate option (for £75 for 6 months or £125 per year) is to have your own fully editable page with dedicated audio/video players, full biographies and completely customised to your look with the freedom to update monthly details (such as upcoming events).
